Michael James Furniture was founded by two brothers whose family has been in the furniture industry for over 26 years. From their early years the two brothers have been surrounded by high end furniture and learned to appreciate the art of manufacturing furniture for the interior design trade. They seek to provide the design industry with fine furniture comprised of fresh designs and quality craftsmanship. Their designs seek to capture the best elements of classical furniture and blend those elements with a modern interpretation. Michael James is proud to offer hand made and hand finished furniture that is constructed from the best materials available in the market today. The line is designed, manufactured and finished near Annapolis, Maryland.

 Michael James continues to produce new designs of furniture as well as developing new finishes to offer a greater variety of choices for our designers.

Michael James wood line is constructed from mainly solid wood and solid wood veneers to offer quality craftsmanship that will last a lifetime. These pieces are hand made by skilled craftsman which allows for each piece customized and made to the specifications of the designer. The wood line offers hand rubbed lacquer finishes showcasing the beauty of the wood in over 20 different stains and colors. As our pieces are hand finished there is a level of variance in the tone and color of the final product that is unique to each piece.

Michael James Furniture manufactures unique and quality handcrafted iron tables sold exclusively to the trade.  Because our designs are hand crafted and hand finished no two pieces are exactly the same. Each table, firescreen and bench have a unique one of a kind appeal. With over 30 finishes which are applied in several steps to give our designs rich depth.  Just about every design can be customized to meet your specifications.

Michael James Furniture can also build your own designs on a commission basis, working hand in hand with the designer to help realize the potential and beauty that can be found in a well designed and manufactured furniture.
